报告摘要:

In this talk, we show the equivalence of Gehring-Hayman inequality and ball separation condition  in \IR^n and the implication between two geometric properties in |IR^n.The motivation of this study stems from the various far-reaching analytical applications and the related open problems raised by Balogh, Buckley , Bonk, Heinonen and Koskela.  We prove the equivalence ofTheGromovhyperbolicity and the ball separation condition, and give an affirmative answer to some relative problem raised by Balogh and Buckley in 2003.

专家简介: 黄曼子，教授，博士生导师，国家优秀青年基金获得者，湖南省青年骨干教师，湖南师大首届世承计划入选者。近年来主持国家自然科学基金4项。研究领域为拟共形映射和几何函数论，主要针对复分析中的拟共形映射领域内被大家所关注的一些公开问题进行研究，已解决拟共形映射创始人Vaisala等的相关公开问题和猜测5个，部分研究实现了有限维空间到无限维空间的突破，在《Adv.Math.》、《Math.Ann.》等刊物发表论文20多篇。
