报告摘要：In this talk, we define a parametric family of certain

two-variable functions on positive cones of $C^*$-algebras that can be considered as a family of potential distance measures including the well-known Hellinger and Bures metrics. We study that family from various points of view. The main questions concern the problem of the well-definedness of the elements of the family, and, whenever we have an affirmative answer to that question, the problem of whether those

distance measures are true metrics.  Besides, we obtain some related trace characterizations. Our study is far from complete, several open questions remain.

报告人简介：Lajos Molnar教授是算子代数与量子信息科学方面的国际知名专家，现为匈牙利塞格德大学终身教授，SCI期刊《Acta Sa.Math.(Szeged)》的主编，同时担任包括 Acta Mathematica Hungarica、Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications、Linear Algebra and its Applications、Linear and Multilinear Algebra、Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen等SCI期刊的编委。
