报告摘要：In this talk, we consider ground states of attractive Bose-Einstein condensates in a rotational trap. The existence and nonexistence of ground states are classified in terms of the rotational velocity of the trap and as well the strengthen of attractive interactions. We then discuss the refined profiles of ground states, which depend on whether the trapping potential V(x) is radially symmetric or not.

 主讲人简介

华中师范大学教授，博士生导师，华中师范大学数学与统计学学院副经理，

湖北省暨武汉市工业与应用数学会副理事长，2013年国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金获得者、中国科学院百人计划（优秀）入选者。2007年获得加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学数学博士学位，2007年至2012年先后工作于美国明尼苏达大学、加拿大康科迪亚大学，随后曾工作于中国科学院武汉物理与数学研究所。主要研究非线性泛函分析中的变分理论及其在非线性偏微分方程、数学物理等领域的应用，先后在微机电系统MEMS方程、质量临界约束变分理论、量子多体系统的涡旋现象等方面做出过一系列科研成果。在美国数学会出版一部英文研究专著，在CPAM、ARMA、Trans. AMS等权威数学期刊上发表学术论文30余篇。
