报告题目：Analytic aspects of graph polynomials

报告人：王毅教授（大连理工大学教授、博士生导师）

摘  要：Graph polynomials play an important role in the study of graph theory. There are many famous problems concerning analytic properties of graph polynomials (including unimodality, log-concavity of coefficients and location of roots). In this talk, we introduce some research methods, well-known results and open problems in analytic aspects of graph polynomials.

报告人简介：王毅， 1979年考入大连工学院应用数学系，后师从徐利治先生获得博士学位，研究方向为组合数学。主要研究兴趣包括组合计数、偏序集上的组合极值理论、图论和组合数论。在组合不等式的研究中做出了一些有影响的工作，多项研究成果以定理形式出现在国外多部专著中。主持过多项国家和省部级基金项目。现任大连理工大学数学一级学科博士点点长，中国组合数学与图论学会常务理事，中国运筹学会图论组合分会常务理事，中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专业委员会副主任、常务委员，中国数学会期刊《Acta Mathematicae Applicatae Sinica》编委。
